Johor is one of Malaysia’s most promising economic engines with tremendous untapped potential for future growth and prosperity. The state’s strategic location within ASEAN makes it an ideal base to strengthen linkages with other regions and to promote the use of technology.​​

GovInsider is partnering with Johor Corporation, the State government’s investment agency, to run a quarterly leadership series that aims to do just that. The series promises to put leaders from the public and private sector in conversation with each other, facilitating public-private partnerships that can tackle key challenges faced by Johor and beyond, and pave the way for next steps in the region’s digital transformation.​​

Key objectives:​​

• Building a close community of officers from the public and private sectors from Johor and regional neighbours​.​

• Supporting leaders from the public and private sectors to better leverage the close links between Johor and its regional neighbours to tackle common challenges​.​

• Supporting leaders in taking actionable steps to build closer relationships and collaborations with each other for shared progress and prosperity​.​
